THE EDWARD KELLEY MANUSCRIPT 1597: facsimile of a 19th century alchemical MSS in quarter leather binding, tan calf with fine green canvas, gilt stamped ‘monas’ hieroglyph, marbled endpapers in a matching marbled slipcase, small octavo. Manuscript originates with Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia and purports to be a series of alchemical processes culminating in the Stone of the Wise written originally by Edward Kelley during his sojourn and eventual imopprisonmemt in Eastern Europe during the reign of the Emperor Maximilian in the late 1590s.
